Even if it was announced and therefore not a surprise, a news like this, on days like this, is still good for your own mental well-being. Michael Saylor, CEO of the US software company MicroStrategy, tweets about his recent BTC purchase. 13,005 BTC has acquired the company and spent approximately $ 489 million, which is an average price of approximately $ 37,617 per Bitcoin.
As of today, the listed company MicroStrategy holds a total rounded 105.085 BTC, acquired at an average of 26.080 USD, which corresponds to a total purchase amount of 2,741 billion USD. It’s not for nothing that the Bitcoin community celebrates him like a hero. Michael Saylor believes in Bitcoin and follows this belief with deeds or money.

But in stark contrast to e.g. Elon Musk, Saylor is not an eccentric who sends unpredictable tweets, but an advocate of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology in general. He is a welcome guest on US television and does everything in his power to reduce prejudice against digital currencies and increase acceptance among the population. He also helps other institutions to participate in the development of the crypto market.
While many companies and investors still shy away from officially including BTC in their company balance sheets and keeping it, the detour is e.g. through an equity investment in MicroStrategy and also through a convertible or corporate bond, an indirect and stress-free path that many institutional investors accept with gratitude.
Now that the Bitcoin price has again reached one of the lowest levels in about three weeks, MicroStrategy strikes and “buys the dip”. Even though the BTC price is still slightly below these prices at the current time at below $ 33,000, this is a good entry point overall.
